Lions Club hosts charity golf tournament | Community Spirit

A day at the Golf Course can help buy a pair of eyeglasses for a local child.  It could help provide a vision-screener for an elementary school.  A day at the golf course might even assist a local senior in receiving a much needed glaucoma surgery.  Please consider supporting the “Knights for the Blind & visually-impaired”.  Will you help the Cabot Lions?  You can make a difference!

The Cabot Lions Club will once again host their Annual "Charity" Golf Tournament on Monday, September 10th, 2012 with a “Shot Gun Start” at 1:00pm.  The 4-Person Scramble will be held at Cabot’s Rolling Hills Country Club ( located on Mount Carmel Road ). 

ENTRY FORMS can be obtained via e-mail at cabotlions@yahoo.com or by calling 501-920-2122.  Entry Fees are $100 per Person / $400 per Team, which includes your greens fees, cart, 2 free mulligans & many door prize opportunities.  Additionally, your entry fee includes a Steak & Baked-Potato Dinner, which will be served immediately following tournament play.

Opportunities are now available for Corporate-Sponsors & Hole-Sponsors!!  We will also accept any item that you might be able to donate for a “door prize”!!  Please contact us today!!

Proceeds raised from this event will go directly toward providing Eye Exams & the purchase of Eyeglasses for Local School Children & in-need Adults.  The Cabot Lions also support World Services For The Blind, Mid-South Lions Sight & Hearing Services, Arkansas Lions Eye Bank & Laboratory, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Diabetes Education & Prevention, Cabot Lions Scholarship Fund & sponsorship of numerous, local Scouting groups.
